No one should be allowed to be beaten by two other people for 3+ minutes without anyone intervening except one elderly woman. If they were beating her for being a trans woman, it just makes their actions more despicable. I hope it's true so that the animals involved can be prosecuted for hate crimes based on both race and gender discrimination as well as assault and battery. I also hope that both the victim and the elderly woman who got shoved in the incident sue the pants off both the franchise where it happened and McDonald's corporation. The behavior of the staff during this incident is absolutely deplorable. No matter what corporate policy dictates, the employees could have at least locked the doors or otherwise prevented the criminals from re-entering the restaurant after they left the first time. How hard would that have been??? Instead they allowed them to return and that's when the blow to the head occurred that caused the poor woman to have a seizure. I sincerely hope that the lawyers are lining up outside her hospital room. What is happening to our country??? How could anyone stand by and allow this to happen? I'm sick at heart over this whole incident and I hope the victim gets the justice that she deserves and that no one allows prejudice to dampen the outrage they feel over what happened that night to a fellow human being. The video ends as the suspects flee the restaurant after having been told by restaurant employees that the police were on their way. They'll suspect that it was faked, they'll bring up similar actions from whites (no matter how rare they are), they'll hoot about slavery, oppression, poverty caused by whites, etc. Or they'll insist that it wasn't racially motivated; and if it was, it was an isolated incident. When Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton, the two default black leaders, stand up publically and categorically condemn every sort of black-on-white racial attack, with no corollary, then you can truly say that blacks are clearly against these actions. @tmac one of the girls in the incident is 14yrs-old, so i can't say that they over-reacted, if its true that a grown man entered the restroom with a 14yr-old girl. in fact, everytime we read about child molestation cases, the comments from the readers on this site & other sites are usually along the lines that the perpetrator should be beaten sensesless & tortured. so, if that is what happened here, then whats the problem ? i think we all know that if a black crossdressing man had entered the restroom with a 14yr-old white girl, this story would be received much differently. Watching this video conjured up so many emotions. & if the reports are true that she was attacked because she was a Trans-gender female, I hope the attackers in this video are charged with hate or bias crimes. Baltimore as you know is a hotbed for violence. It served as the backdrop for the violence filled HBO drug drama The Wire. I would imagine assaults of this nature occur in Baltimore on a daily basis.
