Angelina Jolie, 32, was admitted to hospital since Sunday in the seaside Lenval hospital, which has a million dollar view of the Mediterranean sea. Her brother James Haven and her partner Brad Pitt were spotted visiting her regularly, often with some of the couple's four children. The actress revealed her intentions to give birth in France while at the Cannes Film Festival. Incorrect news reports are claiming that she did this to honor her mother Marcheline Bertrand, described as "a French-Canadian," when in fact Bertrand was a Chicago-born girl as American as apple pie. "We are very happy for this choice of Mrs. Angelina Jolie and Mr. Brad Pitt and I want to say to them that I wish a lot of joy to them and the babies, and great success for all of their lives," the mayor added. The French Foreign Ministry website, the twins will have the option of obtaining French citizenship when they turn 18 as long as France has been their main residence for at least 5 years after age 11. "All their lives they will be Nicois and all their life they will be able to come to Nice and we will receive them with great honor," Estrosi said. Angelina Jolie's doctor revealed during a press conference earlier this week that the actress is doing well. "She will stay in the hospital until the birth. [1] Angelina Jolie, 32, has been hospitalized since Sunday in the seaside Lenval hospital, which has a magnificent view of the Mediterranean below. Her partner, actor Brad Pitt, has been spotted visiting her regularly, often with some of the couple's four children. The actress revealed her intentions to give birth in France while at the Cannes Film Festival, saying she made the choice to honor her French-Canadian mother Marcheline Bertrand who died last year. "We are very happy for this choice of Mrs. Angelina Jolie and Mr. Brad Pitt and I want to say to them that I wish a lot of joy to them and the babies, and great success for all of their lives," the mayor added. Generally, being born in France is not enough to confer citizenship, but according to the French Foreign Ministry website, the twins will have the option of obtaining French citizenship when they turn 18 as long as France has been their primary residence for at least 5 years after age 11. "All their lives they will be Nicois and all their life they will be able to come to Nice and we will receive them with great honor," Estrosi said. In the meantime, Brad Pitt, who is very eager to become a father again, reportedly sought advice from his "The Mexican" co-star Julia Roberts, who is a mother of twins.[2]
Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie's soon-to-be-born twins are bestowed by the mayor of Nice with honorary lifetime French citizenship. The Brangelina'''s twin offspring will always be considered honorary citizens of Nice, France, regardless of whether they opt to obtain French citizenship, the Nice mayor Christian Estrosi said. The 33-year-old Hollywood actress spilled the beans on her big baby news in May during an interview with the "Today" show's Natalie Morales. She revealed her intentions to deliver her twins in France while at the Cannes Film Festival. Jolie and Brad Pitt then chose the relatively low-key Rivieria city for the birth of their twins, who will be the fifth and sixth children for the couple. "That is for the citizens of Nice a very great honor and a great satisfaction. We are very happy for this choice of Mrs. Angelina Jolie and Mr. Brad Pitt and I want to say to them that I wish a lot of joy to them and the babies, and great success for all of their lives," Estrosi was quoted by the Associated Press as saying. Affectionately calling the twins "two little Nicois", he added, "All their lives they will be Nicois and all their life they will be able to come to Nice and we will receive them with great honor." As per the terms of the French Foreign Ministry, the soon-to-born twins of the celebrity couple will have the opportunity to apply for French citizenship when they turn 18.[3]
The French like to claim they have a blas'' outlook on the world, but reports are greatly exaggerated that neighbors of Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are indifferent to the celebrity couple. Pitt, Jolie and their brood are ensconced in a beautiful 880-acre, $70 million estate with 35 bedrooms, vineyard, lake, forest and moat outside Nice in southern France. For the city'''a less glamorous second cousin to Paris and Cannes '''it's a big, big deal. Mon Dieu! The mayor of Nice even proclaimed them honorary citizens! "All their lives they will be Ni''ois and all their life they will be able to come to Nice and we will receive them with great honor," mayor Christian Estrosi said at a recent ceremony. "We are very happy for this choice of Mrs. Angelina Jolie and Mr. Brad Pitt and I want to say to them that I wish a lot of joy to them and the babies, and great success for all of their lives," the mayor added. On June 30, Jolie checked into Nice's Lenval Hospital, where she's expected to give birth to twins "within the coming weeks," according to her doctor.[4]
Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie's unborn babies have definitely had their share of attention, and now the soon-to-born twins of the celebrity couple have also been made honorary citizens of Nice, France for the rest of their lives, Nice mayor announced recently. They will also have the opportunity to apply for French citizenship when they turn 18. While most tourists of the low-key Riviera city, which Angelina Jolie picked for giving birth, seem indifferent to the media buzz caused by one of Hollywood's most hunted-by-paparazzi couple, mayor Christian Estrosi is more than delighted to have the Jolie-Pitts in his city. "That is for the citizens of Nice a very great honor and a great satisfaction," mayor Estrosi was quoted by the Associated Press as saying.[2] Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt arrive for the gala screening of U.S. director Clint Eastwood's film 'The Exchange' running in competition at the 61st edition of the Cannes Film Festival, 20 May 2008, in Cannes, France. The soon-to-be-born twins of the power celebrity couple have also been made honorary citizens of Nice, France for the rest of their lives. Nice's mayor Christian Estrosi is ecstatic that the Jolie-Pitts are birthing in his city. "That is for the citizens of Nice a very great honor and a great satisfaction," mayor Estrosi was quoted by the Associated Press as saying.[1] File photo of Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt in South of France with their children. July 5, 2008 (Sawf News) - Pleased with the celebrity couple's decision to have their twins in Nice, the mayor of the South France city, Christian Estrosi, proclaimed the yet to be born Jolie-Pitts honorary citizens of Nice for their lives, on Friday, July 4. "All their lives they will be Ni''ois and all their life they will be able to come to Nice and we will receive them with great honor," Estrosi said.[5]
Jolie has been hospitalized since Sunday in the seaside Lenval hospital, which has a magnificent view of the Mediterranean below. Pitt has been making regular visits, often with some of their children in tow. "That is for the citizens of Nice a very great honor and a great satisfaction," mayor Christian Estrosi said. "We are very happy for this choice of Mrs. Angelina Jolie and Mr. Brad Pitt and I want to say to them that I wish a lot of joy to them and the babies, and great success for all of their lives."[6]
Jolie will remain in the French Riviera hospital, where four rooms overlooking the Mediterranean have been set aside for her, till the twins arrive. "We are very happy for this choice of Mrs. Angelina Jolie and Mr. Brad Pitt and I want to say to them that I wish a lot of joy to them and the babies, and great success for all of their lives," the mayor said. Jolie and Pitt, along with their four children - Maddox, 6; Pax, 4; Zahara, 3; Shiloh, 2 - are currently staying in a 1,000-acre, $70 million, 35 bedrooms estate in South France, which they have leased for three years.[5] On the face of it at least, one could be forgiven for thinking Angelina Jolie was not in immediate need of several weeks of hospital bed rest. She is in the latter stages of pregnancy with twins, but she has hardly been rushed off her feet of late. For the past four weeks her routine - to which she has been adhering with a quasi-religious zeal - has been specifically devised (and approved by her team of six doctors, no less) to maintain what Angelina, calls her 'tranquillity quotient'. Nothing, she has decreed, must upset her 'equilibrium' or that of her unborn babies. Such dedication to an almost celestial state of serenity is a serious business. She had taken up residence in a sprawling and isolated French chateau set in 75 peaceful acres in Aix-en-Provence (she and her partner Brad Pitt and their noisy brood of four children outstayed their welcome at their previous palatial Gallic billet, the Riviera home of Microsoft co-founder Paul Allen). At her new sumptuous 35-bedroom lodgings, Angelina's days have been taken up in the pursuit of inner peace and wellbeing. Her mornings have begun with soothing foot massages using Provencal aromatic oils and administered by an attentive Pitt. After being brought a light breakfast, she has submitted herself to the rigours of a leisurely stroll in the olive groves of their rented '35million idyll, followed by a good rest next to one of the 20 fountains in the grounds while she listens to soothing music piped through speakers hidden amid scented lavender and thyme bushes.[7]
A French hospital in the south of the country has admitted Hollywood actress Angelina Jolie, and it is expected she will stay there to give birth to the twins she is carrying. Nadine Bauer, spokeswoman for the Lenval Hospital in Nice, is reported to have confirmed that Jolie is doing well, and she added that the movie star, who is pregnant by Brad Pitt, would be very likely to remain in the hospital to have her babies. The hospital spokeswoman also explained that the actress was not expected to give birth straight away, and she also said that Angelina Jolie's admittance to the maternity ward had been planned for some time. Jolie had already announced that she was expecting twins whilst a guest at the Cannes Film Festival back in May. She did this to confirm what Kung Fu Panda co-star Jack Black had accidentally claimed in an interview.[8] The mayor of Nice says he will be proud to have his signature on the birth certificates of Hollywood actress Angelina Jolie's twins, expected to be born in a city hospital in the coming weeks. Jolie, 33, arrived at the Lenval hospital by helicopter last weekend for a pre-planned rest period before she gives birth and has a suite of rooms reserved for her and partner Brad Pitt.[9] Doctor Michel Sussmann gave few details away during a brief news conference, declining to reveal the sex of the expected babies or give a clear indication of the likely birth date. "What she needs now is simple surveillance by monitoring to ensure the good health of her babies in the weeks to come," Sussmann told reporters at the Lenval hospital in the southern French city of Nice. Jolie, 33, arrived at the hospital on Sunday by helicopter and has a suite of rooms reserved for her and her partner Brad Pitt, which have been sealed off by bodyguards.[10]
Let'''s say the birth will happen in the weeks to come,''' said the family'''s doctor, Dr. Michel Sussman. Unaware the couple was not married, Dr. Sussman further added, '''Mrs. Angelina Jolie and her husband, Mr. Brad Pitt, told me to tell you that she is doing absolutely fine.''' French medical secrecy laws are very strict but Dr. Sussman informed the press on Wednesday that Jolie, 33, and Pitt, 44, have given her authorization to give out a few details, although the Dr. would not reveal the sex of the babies or give any further details on what expected date the birth of Jolie'''s twins would be born.[11] NICE, France (AP) — They'll always have Nice. Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt's soon-to-be-born twins will always be considered honorary citizens of Nice, regardless of whether they opt to obtain French citizenship, the mayor of Nice said Friday. The Hollywood super couple have chosen the relatively low-key Rivieria city for the birth of their twins, expected within weeks.[6] Brad Pitt arrives at the Lenval Hospital in Nice, France, carrying his children Zahara, right, and Shiloh. Angelina Jolie checked into the Lenval Hospital in the south of France, where she is expected to give birth to her twins.[12] Pregnant Hollywood actress Angelina Jolie has checked in at the Santa Maria maternity clinic of seafront Lenval Hospital in Nice, France, said the hospital officials on Tuesday. She is doing well and is expected to give birth to twins in "the coming weeks," Michel Sussman, the movie star's doctor said on Wednesday.[13]
Angelina Jolie checked into the city's Lenval hospital on Monday, June 30, to be kept under a "simple watch to reassure the well-being of the babies." Jolie's obstetrician, Dr. Michel Sussmann, told the press on July 2 that the Wanted star will give birth to her twins "in the weeks to come."[5]
Angelina Jolie's twins may take a few more weeks to arrive, her doctor said Wednesday. Dr. Michel Sussmann spoke at a short news conference in Nice, where Jolie is in a hospital, and said she is doing fine. Asked when the actress is expected to have her twins, he replied "I can't give you a date.[14]
Obstetrician Dr Michel Sussmann, from the Santa Maria maternity clinic in Nice, announced that the actress and her children with partner Brad Pitt are well. "Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have asked us to let you know that she's very well and she will give birth within the next few weeks," he said. "It isn't emergency, it's completely planned.[15] Angelina Jolie has checked into a hospital in Nice, near her French villa which she shares with her partner Brad Pitt, in preparation for the birth of her twins. Earlier this year, Jolie and Pitt moved into a 17th century villa in the Provence village of Correns.[16]
At a news conference, Dr Michel Sussman said: "Mrs Angelina Jolie and. Mr Brad Pitt told me to let you know that she is doing just fine at the moment. She is a patient like any other. for whom I have a great deal of respect." Sussman added that he could not confirm when the birth of Jolie's twins would happen but said that he expected it to be in the next few weeks. Jolie and Pitt already have four children, one is their biological child Shiloh, born in Namibia in 2006, and the other three are adopted.[16] "Mrs. Angelina Jolie and. Mr. Brad Pitt, told me to let you know that she is doing just fine at the moment," Sussmann said. "She is a patient like any other. very simple and for whom I have a great deal of respect," he added. Jolie and Pitt, 44, already have four children, three of them adopted and the fourth, Shiloh, their biological daughter born in Namibia in 2006. After months of speculation surrounding her pregnancy, Jolie finally confirmed she was expecting twins in an interview at the Cannes film festival in May.[10]
It'''s been reported the couple have the best room in the hospital and have made arrangements to occupy four adjacent rooms for the couple'''s four children, bodyguards, and staff. '''I find it legitimate that she wants to protect her privacy. She is a pregnant woman. What she needs now is simple surveillance by monitoring to ensure the good health of her babies in the weeks to come,''' Dr. Sussman told reporters. Actor Brad Pitt, her partner, has been visiting.[17]
Sussmann stressed that Jolie checked into the hospital to be kept under observation, not because of any medical emergency. "Mrs. Angelina Jolie and her husband, Brad Pitt, told me to tell you that she is doing absolutely fine," said the doctor, apparently unaware that the stars are not married. "Her hospitalization at this stage in her pregnancy is totally normal for a patient who had a cesarean during her first pregnancy," he said. French medical secrecy laws are very strict. but Sussmann said that the famous couple had given him the OK to give out a few details about her pregnancy.[14] New Delhi: Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt are in the southern French town of Nice for the delivery of their twins.[18] Brad Pitt has turned to his 'The Mexican' co-star Julia Roberts for advice on raising twins. The movie hunk is set to become a father again when partner Angelina Jolie delivers twins in France, and reports suggest he has reached out to the 'Charlie Wilson's War' star for some expert advice.[19]
"Brad was all frantic about knowing if the rules for twins are different than raising or taking care of single babies. Julia told him it's the same - only twice as hard," a few media reports quoted a source as saying. Jolie, a former fashion model, and a Goodwill Ambassador for the UN Refugee Agency, has four other children, a son Maddox, 6, whom she adopted in neighboring Cambodia in 2002, a 3 years old daughter Zahara, whom she adopted in year 2006 from Ethiopia, Pax, 4, from Vietnam, and a 21-month-old biological daughter, Shiloh Nouvel Jolie-Pitt, with Brad Pitt, an Academy Award-nominated American actor.[3] Jolie's doctor said Wednesday that the babies would arrive "within the coming weeks." Pitt and their four children — Maddox, 6; Pax, 4; Zahara, 3; Shiloh, 2 — have taken up residence in the town of Correns, 60 miles from Nice, in advance of the new arrivals.[6] Jolie and Pitt, 44, already have four children: Maddox, 6; Pax, 4; Zahara, 3; and Shiloh, 2. When they adopted Pax from a Vietnamese orphanage in March last year, the couple already had their own daughter, Shiloh, who was born in Namibia in 2006.[13]
Pitt and the couple's four children''' Maddox, 6; Pax, 4; Zahara, 3, and Shiloh, 2 are living in the massive chateau about 60 miles away in Correns, in the Provence region of France, and have been seen making visits to the hospital. Nice is primarily known as an industrial city and a jumping off point for tourists who arrive by air from New York City, heading to more glamorous locations, such as Monaco, Cannes and the Cote d'Azur.[4]
Sussmann also said that the U.S. actress will remain in the hospital until the birth. Brad Pitt has been spotted visiting her sweetheart regularly, often with some of their four children. The U.S. actor, who is eagerly waiting to become father of twins, reportedly has sought advice from his co-star Julia Roberts, who is a mother of twins, on raising the twins.[3] "Brad was all frantic about knowing if the rules for twins are different than raising or taking care of single babies. Julia told him it's the same - only twice as hard," a source told The Globe. Angelina Jolie's doctor revealed during a press conference earlier this week that the actress is doing well and her hospitalization at this stage is "normal" for someone who delivered her first baby via cesarean section. "She will stay in the hospital until the birth.[2] A source tells America's the Globe: "Brad was all frantic about knowing if the rules for twins are different than raising or taking care of single babies. Julia told him it's the same - only twice as hard." Jolie checked into a Nice, France hospital on Monday where she will remain until she gives birth.[19] "Brad was all frantic about knowing if the rules for twins are different than raising or taking care of single babies," Contactmusic quoted a source, as telling America's the Globe. Roberts gave birth to her twins, Phinnaeus and Hazel, three years ago (05).[20]
NICE, France (AP) -- Angelina Jolie's twins have gotten their first honor while still in the womb. The mayor of Nice, France says the twins will always be considered honorary citizens of his town because their mom chose to give birth in Nice. He says the twins can return to Nice any time and will be treated "with great honor."[21] Only the presence of paparazzi outside the seaside hospital where Angelina Jolie is waiting to give birth to twins gives any indication that the star is in the seaside resort in Southern France.[12]

ANGELINA Jolie and Brad Pitt are planning to turn their twins into the most lucrative newborns ever.[23] Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt must really love the fact that they are living in France. They are getting so much love from the city they are staying at.[24]
There are no gaggles of autograph-seekers waiting to catch a glimpse of Brad Pitt as he comes and goes, and just a handful of English-speaking tourists held their cell phones aloft in an attempt to snap photos of two of the couple's children leaving the hospital on Thursday. Jolie herself is on the fifth-floor with tinted windows affording her privacy along with a fabulous view of the Mediterranean.[12] Hospital visitors have complained about the presence of the couple's contingent of bodyguards who patrol the buildings with walkie-talkies and stop anyone attempting to exit the lift on the fifth floor where Miss Jolie has taken over four rooms with sweeping views over the Riviera. She arrived by helicopter on Sunday evening from their chateau 60 miles away and landed on the hospital's rooftop helipad. Her suite of rooms at the corner of the building are said to be newly painted in her choice of colours and with her own furniture. Friends say she is spending her days resting and listening to songs by her heroine, Twenties black American dancer and singer Josephine Baker who moved to France, became a French citizen, and adopted 12 children from different countries. In an example of the type of Tinseltown nuttiness for which she is known, Miss Jolie is said to have told friends she wants to conduct the whole birth in French - including her shouts of pain - so the children will come into the world hearing their 'mother tongue'.[7] On most days, a handful of English-speaking tourists mill about with the photographers trying to catch a glimpse of the superstar couple's children leaving the hospital. Jolie and her bodyguards are occupying four rooms on the fifth floor of Lenval Hospital, where her private room has tinted windows with a fabulous view of the Mediterranean.[4] Jolie has been hospitalized since Sunday in a Santa Maria maternity clinic in the seaside Lenval hospital in Nice. She is staying in a pre-booked suite of four rooms situated at the fifth floor of the facility and overlooking the Bay of Angels and Mediterranean Sea. The actress along with her 44-year-old boyfriend Pitt had arrived at the hospital by helicopter.[3]
Jolie and Pitt are said to have rented several hospital rooms with a beautiful view of the Nice coast.[18]
Until the mayoral ceremony called official attention to the celebrity couple, the ever-present paparazzi camped outside the seaside hospital were a clear sign that Jolie and Pitt were in residence. The city'''s tourism bureau spokeswoman Isabelle Billey Quere, acknowledged that Nice is less glamorous, but she quickly noted in an AP interview that it's a '''real town."[4] Jolie, who is resting at a hotel in Nice before the birth, is fielding bids upwards of $25 million for the exclusive rights to the first pictures of the "Brangelina babies". The couple sold the pictures of their first natural child, Shiloh, for almost $5 million - and donated the money to charity. Reports in the U.S. say the couple have decided if they are girls one baby will be given the middle name Marcheline, and the other will be called Jane after Pitt's mother.[23] Let's say that the birth will take place in the coming weeks." He added that it was too soon to say the babies might be premature. Jodie and Pitt moved into a 17th century villa in Provence earlier this year, with paparazzi descending on the village of Correns when news of the couple's arrival leaked out. Jolie, star of current hit movie "Wanted," and Pitt, of "Ocean's Eleven" fame, went public with their relationship after co-starring in the 2005 film "Mr. & Mrs. Smith."[10] France'''s strict privacy laws will make taking pictures of the world'''s most celebrated birth of the century, difficult to obtain. Paparazzi have been following the celebrity couple relentlessly since Jolie officially announced her pregnancy at the Cannes Film Festival this year.[11] Maddox and Zahara were adopted by Angelina from orphanages in Cambodia and Ethiopia. With the twins on their way, the couple lately moved into the Miraval Estate villa in Correns, a town in the Provence region. After months of speculation surrounding her pregnancy, Jolie finally confirmed she was expecting twins in an interview at the Cannes film festival in May.[13]
The actor is all set to become a father again when partner Angelina Jolie delivers twins in France. Sources say that he has turned to the Pretty Woman star for some expert advice.[20] Being born in France is not enough to confer citizenship. According to the French Foreign Ministry website, the twins will have the option of obtaining French citizenship when they turn 18 as long as France has been their primary residence for at least 5 years after age 11. They are allowed to keep both French and American nationalities, so they will never have to choose. "All their lives they will be Nicois and all their life they will be able to come to Nice and we will receive them with great honor," Estrosi said. He was waiting eagerly to extend his congratulations on behalf of all the city's residents.[6] Even the mayor of Nice officially welcomed the couple. He says, " (This is) a very great honor and a great satisfaction. All their lives they will be Nicois and all their life they will be able to come to Nice and we will receive them with great honor."[24]

"So for the rest of their lives their birth certificates will carry the signature of the mayor of Nice." He said the twins would become honorary citizens of the Riviera city. [9] The mayor of Nice has said that the Jolie-Pitt twins will be made honourary citizens of the town. He also said that he can't wait to sign the birth certificate of the twins and that he is proud to welcome them to his hometown. The birth of these twins is highly anticipated with paparazzi and news reporters seeking to get a glimpse of any of the family members.[18]
Mayor Christian Estrosi says no matter what nationality the twins go for, they will always be honorary citizens of Nice.[17]
"I'm the one who will have the honour to sign the birth certificate for Angelina Jolie's children at the City Hall," Mayor Christian Estrosi told Reuters Television on Friday.[9] The constant flow of celebrities through the Riviera also contributes to the blase reception, said Nancy Wilson, assistant editor of the English-language Riviera Reporter and correspondent for People magazine. "But I think all the French have this attitude, that celebrities' private lives are their own concern, and that celebrities are no better than them," Wilson said. "French people are very proud, especially the women, who are very sexy and confident; they see Angelina Jolie and don't aspire to be her."[12] Jolie bitches about Pitt in secret dairy Mum-to-be Angelina Jolie has been maintain.[20]
Pregnant Jolie is doing well in the hospital in Nice, close to Jolie and Pitt's villa in France.[16] The Fondation Lenval, where Jolie is being under observation, is a 133-bed hospital in Nice, France, established in 1884, that is specialized in children and teens care.[13] A man puts an opaque screen on a window at the Lenval Hospital in Nice, southern France, Thursday, July 3, 2008.[6] The couple checked into the Santa Maria maternity clinic at the Lenval hospital, in the southern French city of Nice on Sunday by helicopter. They landed on the hospital'''s roof and were whisked away to the fifth floor with an unobstructed view over the Bay of Angels.[11]
Estrosi said Friday it was a compliment to Nice that the American couple chose the city for the birth.[17]

Brad was seen carrying Zahara, 3, and Shiloh, 2, into the hospital on Wednesday. Angie's obstetrician, Dr. Michel Sussmann, said earlier this week, '''Everything is normal. She is very well, and she'''s okay. She will stay in the hospital until the birth. [25] Jolie'''s doctor Michel Sussmann, who also delivered Shiloh in Namibia, revealed during a press conference on Wednesday that the actress is doing well and her twins will see the daylight for the first time in the coming weeks.[3]

Brad, 45, and Angelina are already parents to daughter Shiloh, 2, and adopted kids Maddox, 6, Pax, 4, and Zahara, 3. Their twins are due on 19 August but are expected to arrive early. [26] The couple already have four children, one biological child, Shiloh, 2, born in Namibia, Africa, and three adopted children, Maddox, 6, Pax, 4, and Zahara, 3.[11]

The doctor denied some media reports that the whole fifth floor of the hospital had been given over to the Jolie-Pitt clan. He said they had reserved just four rooms, for them and their bodyguards. "She is a patient like any other," he said. "She is very well and she is OK." He would not reveal the sex of the babies. [14] Jolie arrived at the hospital in Nice by helicopter on Sunday, reports Reuters, and has a suite of rooms which are sealed off by bodyguards.[16]

The actress is pregnant with twins and to prepare for their arrival Ange, 33, and Brad have been stocking up at LA celebs favourite baby store Petit Tresor. Among the items they chose is a £1,600 French-style crib, 2 moses baskets at £400 each and 2 pink crystal chandeliers. Even the toys they picked out for the tots are pure cashmere, reports the New York Daily News. [26] The twins became such a big production when the media - tabloid & legitimate - MADE it such a big production! If the media didn't cover it, fly to wherever the Jolie-Pitts happen to be - do you think it would be such a big production? Such self-serving bunk! The media covers the Jolie-Pitts because their magazine sales, ratings & internet clikcs go UP = more $$$! I CHALLENGE THE MEDIA TO STOP COVERING THE JOLIE-PITTS IMMEDIATELY! The Jolie-Pitts are attention loving? The media are such hypocrites. It hunts the Jolie-Pitts when they're in the U.S., follows them to Namibia, India, and now France! The only time the Jolie-Pitts seek attention is when they have charitable or humanitarian projects like housing for Katrina survivors in New Orleans or Iraqi refugees. If the Jolie-Pitts were so publicity-seeking, they'd have opened up the gate to their rented chateau to the papparazi & gone to town often, and Angelina would give interviews from her hostpital bed & posed for pictures.[24]
Being born in France is not enough to obtain French citizenship, but, according to the French Foreign Ministry website, France should be a person'''s primary residence for at least 5 years after age 11. The twins will be allowed to keep both French (if obtained) and American nationalities.[3]

After much - and increasingly fraught - toing and froing, the couple were, it seems, bluntly advised to try somewhere else. At that point an emotional Angelina is said to have suggested they leave France and go home to America to have the babies there. Her medical advisers (she is travelling with a team of doctors, midwives and a full-time 'pregnancy coach') persuaded her it would not be safe for her to fly so late in her pregnancy. [7]
