    Electronic Arts (EA) announces today its former president and Chief Operating Officer (COO) John Pleasants will be leaving the company, and will be replaced by John Schappert, who has been with the company since 1991, excepting a couple of leaves, one in 2007 for the position of Corporate VP at Microsoft Interactive Entertainment Business, taking charge of Microsoft Game Studios and Xbox LIVE.
